On August 9, 2024, Asake’s latest album Lungu Boy achieved a significant milestone by setting the record for the highest opening week streams on Spotify Nigeria. The album garnered 18.9 million streams in its debut week, surpassing the previous record of 14.4 million streams held by Davido’s Timeless.
