“Governor Uba Sani Launches Free Fertilizer Distribution for Kaduna Farmers”
Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has officially launched the distribution of free fertilizer to farmers across the state.
The initiative includes 500 trucks carrying approximately 15,000 metric tonnes of fertilizer.
A total of 240,000 bags will be distributed to 120,000 smallholder farmers at no cost.
Beneficiaries were chosen by a diverse, non-partisan committee representing various stakeholder groups.
The governor’s initiative aims to boost the agricultural sector and enhance food security in Kaduna State.
The flag-off event, held at Murtala Square in Kaduna, received praise from key stakeholders for its scale and potential impact on agriculture.
Governor Sani emphasized that this effort reflects his administration’s dedication to empowering farmers and strengthening the agricultural sector.
