Tinubu appoints Walson-Jack as new Head of Civil Service of Federation

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, effective August 14. The announcement was made in a statement by the President’s spokesman, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, on Wednesday.

Walson-Jack, who has been a Federal Permanent Secretary since 2017, has served in various ministries. She will succeed Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, who is set to retire on August 13.

President Tinubu expressed his gratitude to the outgoing Head of Service for her dedicated service and stewardship. He encouraged Walson-Jack to perform her duties with innovation, integrity, and strict adherence to the regulations governing the Civil Service of the Federation.
