Senator Monguno replaces Ndume as Senate Chief Whip

During a plenary session on Wednesday, Senate President Godswill Akpabio read a letter titled “Complaints Against the Unbecoming Utterances of Sen. Ali Ndume,” sent by Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The letter announced the replacement of Sen. Ali Ndume, who represents Borno South (APC-Borno), as the Chief Whip of the Senate. He was replaced by Sen. Mohammed Monguno, who represents Borno North (APC-Borno).
